กรมศุลกากร ร่วมกับศุลกากรญี่ปุ่น ลงนามในแผนปฏิบัติการตามความตกลงยอมรับร่วมกันเกี่ยวกับโครงการผู้ประกอบการระดับมาตรฐานเออีโอ
นายพชร อนันตศิลป์ อธิบดีกรมศุลกากร และ Mr.SAKATA Wataru, Director-General of the Customs and Tariff Bureau ของญี่ปุ่น ได้ร่วมลงนามความตกลงยอมรับร่วมกัน (Mutual Recognition Arrangement: MRA) ในรูปแบบเสมือนจริงภายใต้ชื่อ ‘AEO-MRA Virtual Signing Ceremony between The Customs Department of the Kingdom of Thailand and The Customs Administration of Japan’ ผ่านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (ระบบ Webex) ณ ห้องอนุมานราชธน ชั้น 2 อาคาร 1 กรมศุลกากร โดยมีผู้บริหารและเจ้าหน้าที่กรมศุลกากร รวมทั้ง Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto ตำแหน่ง Head of The Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB A/P) และ Mr. Rei MURAKAWA ตำแหน่ง Second Secretary and Vice Consul ร่วมเป็นสักขีพยาน
ซึ่งผลจากการลงนามในครั้งนี้จะทำให้ผู้ส่งของออกระดับมาตรฐานเออีโอของประเทศไทยได้รับการอำนวยความสะดวกในการปฏิบัติพิธีการศุลกากร เมื่อส่งของออกไปยังประเทศญี่ปุ่นภายใต้ MRA ดังกล่าว นอกจากนี้ กรมศุลกากรยังได้ลงนาม MRA หน่วยงานศุลกากรของประเทศต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ เขตบริหารพิเศษฮ่องกง เกาหลีใต้ สิงคโปร์ และออสเตรเลีย แล้ว
On 5th April 2022, Director-General of the Thai Customs Department, Mr. Patchara Anuntasilpa and Director-General of the Customs and Tariff Bureau of Japan, Mr. Sakata Wataru have officially signed the Thailand-Japan AEO MRA at “AEO-MRA Virtual Signing Ceremony between The Customs Department of the Kingdom of Thailand and The Customs Administration of Japan”. The signing ceremony was joined by Executives of Thai Customs and witnessed by Mr. Norikazu Kuramoto, Head of Regional Office for Capacity Building (ROCB) and Mr. Rei Murakawa, Second Secretary and Vice Consul.
The AEO-MRA will benefit trade facilitation for Thai AEO exporters on customs procedure when export to Japan. Thai Customs has also signed MRA with customs administration of Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and Australia.
