เคทีซี ผนึกกำลังเจซีบีเร่งขยายฐานสมาชิกคนไทยหัวใจญี่ปุ่น ออกบัตรเครดิต'เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม' ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย

     'เคทีซี'ร่วมกับ เจซีบี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เปิดตัวบัตรเครดิต 'เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม” ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย จับมือพันธมิตรธุรกิจทั้งในประเทศไทยและประเทศญี่ปุ่น ยกระดับสิทธิพิเศษ เพิ่มความเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟ หวังโดนใจคนไทยหัวใจญี่ปุ่น ตอบโจทย์เทรนด์คนไทยนิยมเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศญี่ปุ่น และกระแสอาหารญี่ปุ่นมาแรง มอบส่วนลดและบริการเสริม หวังขยายฐานสมาชิกเพิ่ม 40,000 รายภายในสิ้นปี 2558

     นางพิทยา วรปัญญาสกุล รองประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ธุรกิจบัตรเครดิต 'เคทีซี'หรือ บริษัท บัตรกรุงไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) กล่าวว่า “เคทีซีได้ร่วมกับเจซีบี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล เปิดตัวบัตรเครดิตเคทีซี เจซีบีครั้งแรกในปี พ.ศ. 2551 เพื่อเจาะกลุ่มคนไทยที่มีไลฟ์สไตล์ชื่นชอบในผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการของญี่ปุ่น หลงใหลการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงกลุ่มนักธุรกิจชาวญี่ปุ่นที่อาศัยอยู่ในประเทศไทย การเปิดตัวบัตรเครดิต “เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม” ในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นการเพิ่มสิทธิพิเศษให้กับสมาชิกผู้ถือบัตรเจซีบีได้ใช้ชีวิตในแบบ Japanese Style ที่คุ้มค่ากว่าทั้งในประเทศไทยและประเทศญี่ปุ่น จากการศึกษาพฤติกรรมของสมาชิกที่มีการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรฯ ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่นเพิ่มมากขึ้น ประกอบกับเทรนด์การรับประทานอาหารญี่ปุ่นที่ได้รับความนิยมอย่างมากในปัจจุบัน ทำให้เคทีซีมั่นใจว่าสิทธิประโยชน์ของบัตรแพลทินัมใบนี้จะตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของสมาชิกได้ตรงใจมากยิ่งขึ้น ส่งผลให้สิ้นปี 2558 จะมีจำนวนสมาชิกผู้ถือบัตรเครดิต “เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม” ใหม่ไม่ต่ำกว่า 40,000 ราย”

     นายนาโอยะ มิชิชิมะ กรรมการผู้จัดการ เจซีบี อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล กล่าวว่า 'เจซีบีร่วมกับเคทีซีเปิดตัวบัตรเครดิต “เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม” ในประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรก เพื่อยกระดับสิทธิประโยชน์ให้กับสมาชิกผู้ถือบัตรเจซีบี และขยายฐานสมาชิกให้ครอบคลุมกล่มเป้าหมายมากยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมจับมือพันธมิตรมอบสิทธิพิเศษให้กับสมาชิกที่นิยมเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในประเทศญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงชื่นชอบการใช้ชีวิตแบบคนญี่ปุ่น โดยมั่นใจว่ายอดรวมการใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรเครดิตฯ โดยรวมจะเติบโตขึ้น 50% ปัจจุบัน เจซีบีมีการออกบัตรเครดิตใน18 ประเทศ และมีจำนวนผู้ถือบัตรเจซีบีทั้งสิ้น 89 ล้านใบ”

     สำหรับ สมาชิกบัตรเครดิต 'เคทีซี เจซีบี แพลทินัม' รับสิทธิพิเศษ อาทิ คะแนนสะสม Forever Rewards 2 เท่า เมื่อใช้จ่ายผ่านบัตรฯ ที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น / อัตราดอกเบี้ยพิเศษ 0.69% เมื่อใช้บริการ FLEXI by Phone สำหรับรายการใช้จ่ายที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น / บริการห้องรับรองที่ JCB Plaza Lounge ใน 9 ประเทศ / บริการ Airport Lounge ที่สนามบินในประเทศญี่ปุ่น 28 แห่ง รวมถึงในประเทศฮ่องกง เกาหลี สิงคโปร์ จีน และฮาวาย รวมถึงบริการประกันความคุ้มครองระหว่างเดินทางต่างประเทศด้วยวงเงินประกันสูงสุด 8,000,000 บาท และประกันกระเป๋าเดินทางสูญเสียและสูญหายจากการเดินทางต่างประเทศด้วยวงเงินสูงสุดถึง 40,000 บาทต่อครั้ง

KTC and JCB introduce “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card for the first time in Thailand with the aim to attract more Thai members with Japanese lifestyle.

     KTC and JCB International unveil “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card for the first time in Thailand. Together with business partners in Thailand and Japan, exclusive privileges are offered to attract Thai consumers with Japanese lifestyle who like to travel to Japan or enjoy Japanese food. Discounts and extra services will be offered to attract at least 40,000 new members by the end of 2015.

     Mrs. Pittaya Vorapanyasakul, Executive Vice President - Credit Card Business, “KTC” or Krungthai Card Public Company Limited, says, “KTC and JCB International jointly launched the first KTC JCB credit card in 2008 for Thai consumers of Japanese products and services, those who enjoy traveling to Japan, as well as Japanese businessmen in Thailand. The introduction of this “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card brings even more privileges in Thailand and Japan to holders with Japanese lifestyle. According to study of members’ behaviors, it appears that members spend more in Japan and that Japanese cuisine is becoming increasingly popular. We believe this platinum card will correspond even more to the needs of the members, resulting in a minimum of 40,000 holders of “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card by the end of 2015.”

     Holders of “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card will earn double Forever rewards points when spending with their card in Japan; 0.69% interest rate when using the FLEXI by Phone service on transactions completed in Japan; access to JCB Plaza Lounge in nine countries; access to Airport Lounge in 28 airports in Japan, as well as in Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, China and Hawaii; up to 8,000,000 Baht international travel insurance coverage and, up to 40,000 Baht coverage for the lost or damaged luggage.

     Privileges in Japan for holders of 'KTC JCB Platinum'credit card include free access to Tokyo Tower (The Main Observatory of 150 meters only) and nine other towers in Japan; free WIFI at more than 200,000 locations from now until June 30th, 2016; 20% discount on Airport Limousine Bus on inbound trip from Narita International Airport (four tickets per one card) plus one free outbound ticket to Narita International Airport when spending 50,000 Yen with the “KTC JCB Platinum” credit card from now until June 30th, 2016; 20% discount on Airport Limousine Bus at Kansai International Airport from now until June 30th, 2016; up to 15% discount at retail stores and restaurants at the major airport of Japan (with prior download of coupons); up to 5% discount at Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore from now until February 29th , 2016 (with prior download of coupons);and, up to 15% discount at Yamada Denki electronics retailer from now until January 31st,2016.

     Additionally, holders of'KTC JCB Platinum' credit card are entitled to up to 15% discount at international restaurants in Thailand. For example, 15% discount at Osaka Ohsho, Kisso and Erawan Tea Room; 10% discount at Audrey, Tsucohachi and Nara Thai Cuisine; and, 5% discount at Laem Charoen Seafood, Torajiro and Coca Suki.
