ไทยคม เสนอนวัตกรรมโทรคมนาคมยุคดิจิตอล โชว์ศักยภาพดาวเทียมไทยใน CommunicAsia 2014
บริษัท ไทยคม จำกัด (มหาชน) นำนวัตกรรมดาวเทียมไทย พร้อมด้วยรูปแบบบริการครบวงจร เผยโฉมต่อลูกค้าในภูมิภาคเอเชียแปซิฟิคและผู้เข้าชมงาน CommunicAsia 2014 โดยไทยคมเน้นโชว์เทคโนโลยีการสื่อสารโทรคมนาคมผ่านดาวเทียม ทั้งบรอดคาสต์และบรอดแบนด์ ภายใต้ธีม Serving You Better ในงานที่จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 17-20 มิถุนายน นี้ ณ ประเทศสิงคโปร์
นายปฐมภพ สุวรรณศิริ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร ด้านการตลาด บมจ.ไทยคม เปิดเผยว่า “ไทยคมเตรียมจัดแสดงสุดยอดนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยีการสื่อสารโทรคมนาคมผ่านดาวเทียม ภายใต้แนวคิด New Frontiers : Serving You Better ซึ่งเป็นไปตามแผนกลยุทธ์ของไทยคม ในการนำผู้เยี่ยมชมเข้าสู่โลกแห่งการสื่อสารที่ไร้ขอบเขต ด้วยเทคโนโลยีแห่งอนาคตและสัญญาณดาวเทียมที่มีศักยภาพสูง รวมถึงเป็นการตอกย้ำความเป็นผู้นำทั้งในด้านนวัตกรรมและโซลูชั่นส์ด้านการสื่อสารผ่านดาวเทียมแบบครบวงจร ที่ตอบรับความต้องการของลูกค้า รวมถึงสนองตอบเทรนด์แห่งยุคดิจิตอลด้วย”
ภายในงาน ไทยคมนำเสนอ 2 นวัตกรรมใหม่ที่ช่วยเชื่อมต่อโลกแห่งการสื่อสารแบบไร้รอยต่อ โดยจะเปิดตัว การสื่อสารผ่านดาวเทียมบนเครื่องบิน (In-Flight Connectivity : IFC) ผ่านระบบ Ku-band ให้ผู้โดยสารได้ใช้ wifi ความเร็วสูงตลอดการเดินทาง ซึ่งถือเป็นครั้งแรกในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมทั้งเชิญพบกับ โซลูชั่นส์บริการส่งต่อและฉายภาพยนตร์ในรูปแบบดิจิตอลผ่านดาวเทียม (Digital Content Delivery-Digital Cinema Package (DCP) Solution) ผู้สนใจสามารถสัมผัสนวัตกรรมผ่านดาวเทียมแบบไร้ขีดจำกัดได้ที่ บูธไทยคม หมายเลข : IP2-07 ฮอลล์ B ณ มารีน่า เบย์ แซนด์ ประเทศสิงคโปร์
Thaicom shows telecommunication innovations in the Digital Age displaying Thai satellite capacity in CommunicAsia 2014
Thaicom PLC, reveals Thailand’s satellite innovative technology, together with end-to-end solutions to the customers in Asia-Pacific region and to the visitors of the CommunicAsia 2014. Thaicom emphasizes on showing the telecommunication technologies through satellite-based communications for both broadcast and broadband in the ‘Serving You Better’ theme. The event will be held from 17 to 20 June 2014 in Singapore.
Mr.Patompob Suwansiri, Chief Marketing Officer of Thaicom PLC said, “Thaicom prepares to exhibit a cutting-edge innovations using satellite-based solutions in the concept of ‘New Frontiers : Serving You Better’, which is a part of our strategy to lead visitors into the world of seamless communications supporting by Thaicom’s high-performance satellites and future technology. This will strengthen Thaicom’s position as the leader in innovation and end-to-end solutions that respond to the customer’s needs and the digital trend."
At the exhibition, Thaicom brings in two innovative service and solutions that will provide a seamless connectivity to the customers. Debuting by the first service "In-Flight Connectivity (IFC)”, a Ku-band frequency system that promotes the usage of broadband Wi-Fi during the flight, it is the first satellite service in Asia Pacific that introduce In-Flight Connectivity on Ku-band system to access to broadband in commercial flights. The second solution is “Digital Content Delivery-Digital Cinema Package (DCP) solutions” that serves the large-scale bandwidth transition.
