    เมื่อวันที่ 29 กรกฎาคมที่ผ่านมา Microsoft ได้เผยโฉม Windows 10 ซึ่งเป็น Windows ที่ดีที่สุดเท่าที่เคยมีมา ซึ่งอัดแน่นไปด้วยฟีเจอร์อย่างส่วนต่อประสานกับผู้ใช้ (user-interface (UI)) ที่ได้รับการปรับปรุงใหม่และเบราเซอร์ตัวใหม่อย่าง Edge ที่รองรับการประมวลผลด้านกราฟฟิกอย่างเต็มสมรรถภาพ นอกจากนี้ยังเพิ่มการปรับปรุงด้านประสิทธิภาพและมัลติมีเดีย พร้อมให้คำมั่นสัญญาในการส่งมอบความสะดวกสบายในการใช้งานและเพิ่มสมรรถนะการประมวลผลให้ผู้ใช้งานกว่าพันล้านคนทั่วโลก

     คอมพิวเตอร์ส่วนบุคคลขุมพลัง AMD ที่มาพร้อมกับ Windows 10 ใช้เทคโนโลยีประเภทเดียวกับที่ใช้ใน Xbox One ที่ได้สร้างสรรค์เกมผ่าน DirectX® 12 จะสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากเทคโนโลยีดังกล่าวได้ทั้งใน Xbox One และWindows 10 บนแพลตฟอร์มพีซี

     คอมพิวเตอร์พีซีขุมพลัง AMD รองรับเทคโนโลยี video acceleration รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุดอย่าง H.264 นอกจากนี้หน่วยประมวลผล A-Series รุ่นที่ 6 ของ AMD ยังรองรับ H.265 (HEVC) ซึ่งจะให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถสตรีมคอนเทนต์ได้ที่ความละเอียดสูงสุด 4Kหรือมากกว่าด้วยนวัตกรรมdecode การเข้ารหัสวิดีโอ HEVC

      ไลน์ผลิตภัณฑ์กราฟฟิกและ APU ของ AMD ปี 2015 สำหรับ Windows 10 นี้รองรับการใช้งาน DirectX® 12 รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุด ซึ่งจะทำให้นักพัฒนาเกมสามารถใช้ประโยชน์สูงสุดจากกราฟฟิกการ์ด และนอกเหนือจากประสิทธิภาพ ด้านเกมมิ่งที่สูงขึ้นและคุณภาพการแสดงผลที่ยอดเยี่ยมกว่าเดิม ผลิตภัณฑ์กราฟฟิกและ APU ของ AMD ซึ่งรองรับ Windows 10 นี้สามารถประมวลผลด้านกราฟฟิกและด้านอื่นๆ ได้ในเวลาเดียวกัน

      นอกจากนี้  เทคโนโลยี asynchronous shader ซึ่งฝังตัวใน DirectX 12 อยู่ในสถาปัตยกรรมGCN ซึ่งจะทำให้สามารถเรนเดอร์กราฟฟิกแบบคู่ขนาน ให้รายละเอียดด้านกราฟฟิกในเกมสูงถึง 15x โดยไม่ส่งผลกระทบต่อเฟรมเรทเทคโนโลยี asynchronous shader ใน DirectX 12 จะทำให้สามารถเล่นเกมบนคอมพิวเตอร์พีซีได้ในคุณภาพสูงไม่ว่าจะเล่นที่เฟรมเรทใด นอกจากนี้ เทคโนโลยี FreeSync ของ AMD จะทำให้สามารถเล่นเกมได้อย่างลื่นไหลไร้ภาพขาดหรือกระตุก

   สำหรับไดร์เวอร์ AMD Catalyst™15.7 สำหรับโซลูชั่น GCN ของ AMD จะทำให้ประมวลผลได้รวดเร็ว และทำงานได้อย่างคงที่และได้รับการออกแบบเพื่อรองรับการใช้งานในของเทคโนโลยีในอนาคตไม่ว่าจะเป็น เทคโนโลยีการแสดงผล อุปกรณ์เฮดเซ็ทVR และอีกมากมาย
