AMD และ Crytek ร่วมสนับสนุนฮาร์ดแวร์ และซอฟต์แวร์เทคโนโลยีเสมือนจริงขั้นสูงในมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ

AMD ส่ง GPU สนับสนุนโครงการริเริ่ม VR First™ ของ Crytek-

     ซานฟรานซิสโก, แคลิฟอร์เนีย - AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) ให้การสนับสนุนวิทยาลัยและมหาวิทยาลัยสร้างห้องทดลองสำหรับเทคโนโลยีเสมือนจริง (VR) โดยมี Crytek เป็นพันธมิตรคนสำคัญของโครงการริเริ่ม VR First™ initiative ซึ่งแรกเริ่มได้เป็นแหล่งโซลูชั่นพร้อมใช้งานสำหรับนักพัฒนา นักเรียน และนักวิจัย  ทาง AMD จะมอบ กราฟิกการ์ด Radeon™ Pro Duo พร้อมเทคโนโลยี LiquidVR™ SDK แพลตฟอร์มสำหรับการพัฒนา VR ที่มีประสิทธิภาพและเร็วที่สุดในโลก ในการสรรค์สร้างและใช้คอนเทนต์ VR นอกจากนี้ AMD จะสนับสนุน LiquidVR™ Software Developer Kit (SDK) ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ GPUOpen

        สำหรับ ห้องทดลองแห่งใหม่นี้จะขับเคลื่อนโดยกราฟิกการ์ด AMD Radeon™ Pro Duo พร้อมเทคโนโลยี LiquidVR™ SDK แพลตฟอร์มสำหรับการพัฒนา VR ที่เร็วที่สุดในโลก ในการสรรค์สร้างและใช้คอนเทนต์ VRที่มาพร้อมกับความสามารถในการประมวลผลที่ความเร็ว 16 teraflops กราฟิกการ์ด AMD Radeon™ Pro สามารถใช้งานได้กับอุปกรณ์สวมศีรษะอย่าง Oculus Rift™ และ HTC Vive™  สำหรับห้องทดลองแห่งแรกได้เปิดใช้งานแล้วในช่วงเดือนมกราคมที่ผ่านมาที่ Bahçeşehir University ในอิสตันบูล

AMD and Crytek Partner to Deliver Advanced VR Hardware and Software to Universities

            AMD named exclusive GPU technology provider for Crytek VR First™ initiative -

            SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) today announced it is helping colleges and universities create dedicated virtual reality (VR) labs as Crytek’s exclusive technology partner in their VR First™ initiative. The VR First™ initiative provides colleges and universities a ready-made VR solution for developers, students and researchers. AMD will equip the labs with its new Radeon™ Pro Duo graphics cards featuring LiquidVR™ SDK, the world’s fastest and most powerful VR creator platform, capable of both creating and consuming VR content. AMD will provide its LiquidVR™ Software Developer Kit (SDK) as part of the GPUOpen initiative.

The initial VR First Lab at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul is already up and running in January of this year.
