EXIM BANK ปล่อยกู้ 3.45 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐแก่ JWD ขยายธุรกิจโลจิสติกส์ของไทยในกัมพูชาและสปป.ลาว
EXIM BANK สนับสนุนวงเงินกู้ 3.45 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐให้บริษัท เจดับเบิ้ลยูดี อินโฟโลจิสติกส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) รุกเข้าตลาด CLMV อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ โดยใช้ศักยภาพด้านธุรกิจโลจิสติกส์ของไทยเข้าไปบริหารจัดการคลังสินค้าอาหารแช่เย็นแช่แข็งในกัมพูชาและ สปป.ลาว เพื่อการบริโภคในประเทศ ป้อนโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมภายในประเทศ และส่งออก
นายพิศิษฐ์ เสรีวิวัฒนา กรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารเพื่อการส่งออกและนำเข้าแห่งประเทศไทย (EXIM BANK) เปิดเผยว่า EXIM BANK ได้สนับสนุนเงินกู้จำนวน 3.45 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ ให้แก่บริษัท เจดับเบิ้ลยูดี อินโฟโลจิสติกส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) (JWD) โดยมี นายชวนินทร์ บัณฑิตกฤษดา กรรมการ และนางสาวอรวรรณ วรนิจ กรรมการ ร่วมลงนามในสัญญาเงินกู้ เพื่อให้ JWD นำไปใช้ในโครงการคลังสินค้าอาหารแช่เย็นแช่แข็งในเมืองหลวงของกัมพูชาและ สปป.ลาว ณ EXIM BANK สำนักงานใหญ่ เมื่อวันที่ 20 มิถุนายน 2559
เงินกู้ของ EXIM BANK ในครั้งนี้ช่วยให้ JWD รุกเข้าตลาดธุรกิจโลจิสติกส์ในตลาดประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน (ASEAN Economic Community : AEC) อย่างเต็มรูปแบบ ภายหลังจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยเมื่อปี 2558 และดำเนินธุรกิจให้บริการด้านโลจิสติกส์ภาคพื้นดินอย่างครบวงจรมานานกว่า 36 ปี โดย JWD ได้ร่วมทุนกับ RMA Group ผู้นำธุรกิจอาหารและยานยนต์รายใหญ่ในกลุ่มประเทศกัมพูชา และ สปป.ลาว จัดตั้งบริษัท EM Logistics and Warehousing Private Limited เพื่อลงทุนในธุรกิจคลังสินค้าในกัมพูชาและ สปป.ลาว ทั้งนี้ เงินกู้จำนวน 3.45 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ นำไปใช้ในการก่อสร้างโครงการคลังสินค้าในกัมพูชา 2.60 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ และใน สปป.ลาว 0.85 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ
ภายใต้การสนับสนุนเงินกู้ของ EXIM BANK ปัจจุบันโครงการคลังสินค้าในนครหลวงเวียงจันทน์ สปป.ลาว ได้ดำเนินการก่อสร้างแล้วเสร็จและเปิดดำเนินการเชิงพาณิชย์แล้วเมื่อเดือนมกราคม 2559 โดยให้บริการรับฝากและบริหารสินค้าควบคุมอุณหภูมิแช่เย็นและแช่แข็ง ซึ่งต้องการการจัดเก็บในอุณหภูมิต่ำที่มีการนำเข้าและกระจายเข้าสู่ธุรกิจร้านอาหารหรือค้าปลีกเพื่อการบริโภคภายในประเทศ เช่น สินค้าอาหารสดซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างรอการแปรรูป ผลไม้ น้ำผลไม้ ผักสด ไอศกรีม และเนยแข็ง เป็นต้น ขณะที่โครงการคลังสินค้าสำหรับรับฝากและบริหารสินค้าประเภทเดียวกันข้างต้นในกรุงพนมเปญ กัมพูชา อยู่ระหว่างก่อสร้าง และคาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จในเดือนสิงหาคมนี้ โดยกลุ่มลูกค้าสำคัญที่ใช้บริการคลังสินค้าดังกล่าวได้แก่ ธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์ร้านอาหารที่มีสาขาจำนวนมากกระจายอยู่ทั่วประเทศ
“การสนับสนุนของ EXIM BANK ในครั้งนี้เป็นการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาธุรกิจโลจิสติกส์ใน CLMV ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานการเชื่อมโยงทางโลจิสติกส์จากไทยไปยังประเทศเพื่อนบ้าน และต่อไปยังประเทศอื่นๆ ในภูมิภาค นำมาซึ่งรายได้ที่เป็นเงินตราต่างประเทศของไทย ควบคู่ไปกับการเสริมสร้างความกินดีอยู่ดีของสังคมและการเติบโตทางเศรษฐกิจของ AEC และภูมิภาคโดยรวม” นายพิศิษฐ์กล่าว
EXIM Thailand Provides 3.45-USD-million Loan to JWD in Support of Thai Logistics Business in Cambodia and Lao PDR
EXIM Thailand provides USD 3.45 million loan to JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited to support JWD’s full-fledged market expansion into the CLMV relying on its capability in chilled and frozen food warehouse management in Cambodia and Lao PDR for domestic consumption, local factory distribution and export.
Mr. Pisit Serewiwattana, President of Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand), reveals that EXIM Thailand recently signed a USD 3.45 million loan agreement with Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, Chief Executive Officer of JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited (JWD) and Miss Orawan Voranij, JWD Director, to finance JWD’s chilled and frozen food warehousing facilities in Cambodia and Lao PDR at EXIM Thailand’s Head Office on June 20, 2016.
The loan provided by EXIM Thailand will allow JWD to fully make its market presence by expanding its logistics business into the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) following its listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2015 after operating integrated ground logistics services for over 36 years. JWD has entered into a joint venture with RMA Group, a leader in food and automobile businesses in Cambodia and Lao PDR, to establish EM Logistics and Warehousing Private Limited with an aim to engage in warehouse business investment in Cambodia and Lao PDR. The USD 3.45-million loan will be utilized for warehouse construction, with USD 2.60 million for a project in Cambodia and the remainder USD 0.85 million for a facility in Lao PDR.
With EXIM Thailand’s financial support, a warehouse project in Viantiane, Lao PDR has been accomplished and commenced commercial operation in January 2016. Its services consist of depository and management of imported, temperature-controlled chilled and frozen goods which need to be kept in low temperature before distributing to restaurants or food retailers for domestic consumption such as pre-processed fresh food, fruits, fruit juice, fresh vegetable, ice cream, and cheese. Meanwhile, a similar project in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is under construction and expected to be completed by this August, targeting franchised restaurants with numerous branches scattering all over the country.
“EXIM Thailand aims to help promote logistics business expansion in the CLMV, which will serve as a foundation for Thailand’s logistics network development with neighboring countries and other countries in the region, increasing foreign exchange earnings while enhancing social well-being and overall economic growth in the AEC and beyond,” said Mr. Pisit.
