ก.ล.ต. ปรับปรุงเกณฑ์การให้บริการลูกค้าที่ลงทุนในผลิตภัณฑ์สกุลเงินต่างประเทศ

      นายวรพล โสคติยานุรักษ์ เลขาธิการ ก.ล.ต. เปิดเผยว่า คณะกรรมการกำกับตลาดทุนมีมติเห็นชอบการแก้ไขประกาศเกี่ยวกับการให้บริการแก่ลูกค้าลงทุนในผลิตภัณฑ์ในตลาดทุนที่เป็นสกุลเงินตราต่างประเทศ โดยกำหนดให้ผู้ประกอบธุรกิจสามารถให้บริการลูกค้าในการลงทุนหลักทรัพย์สกุลเงินตราต่างประเทศได้ตามประเภทของใบอนุญาตที่ได้รับ และสามารถให้บริการเกี่ยวกับหน่วยของโครงการจัดการลงทุนที่จัดตั้งขึ้นในประเทศกลุ่มอาเซียน (ASEAN Collective Investment Scheme) ได้เพิ่มเติม ทั้งนี้ เพื่อให้เกิดการแข่งขันในกลุ่มผู้ให้บริการ และเพิ่มความหลากหลายให้กับสินค้าในตลาดทุน ซึ่งจะมีผลใช้บังคับในเดือนพฤศจิกายนนี้

SEC revises regulations on foreign currency denominated investment services

      Bangkok, October 16, 2014 – Vorapol Socatiyanurak, SEC Secretary-General revealed that the Capital Market Supervisory Board has approved to revise the regulations on services concerning investment in products denominated foreign currencies. The revised regulations will allow business operators to provide services in foreign currency denominated products as permitted under their licenses.  In addition, units of ASEAN collective investment scheme (ASEAN CIS) will be added as permissible securities.  The revision, to become effective by November 2014, aims at supporting competition among business operators and increase capital market product variety.
