dtac Accelerate ประกาศผลทีม Piggipo ที่ได้รางวัล ไปร่วมโครงการ Black Box ซิลิคอล วัลล์เล่ย์ และทีม Claim Di ที่รับรางวัล ดิจิทัล วินเนอร์ พร้อมสนับสนุนเงินทุนต่อเนื่องและช่วยทำตลาดสร้างธุรกิจให้สำเร็จทั้ง 5 ทีม

       ดีแทคประกาศผลทีมที่ได้รางวัลจาก โครงการ dtac Accelerate ปี 2557 หลังได้สุดยอด สตาร์ทอัพจาก 5 ทีม คือ ทีม Anywhere to Go, ทีม Piggipo, ทีม Fast in Flow, ทีม Drivebot และ ทีม Story Log เข้าร่วมเวิร์คช้อป Bootcamp นาน 3 เดือน และประกาศผลรางวัลทีม Piggipo ที่ได้ไปร่วมโครงการ Black Box ที่ซิลิคอล วัลล์เล่ย์ และทีม Claim Di ที่ได้รับรางวัลดิจิทัล วินเนอร์ เป็นตัวแทนสตาร์ทอัพจากทีมดีแทคประเทศไทยไปแข่งขันกับตัวแทนจากเทเลนอร์ทั่วโลกทั้ง 13 ประเทศ ณ ประเทศนอร์เวย์ พร้อมกันนี้ทั้ง 5 ทีมยังจะได้รับเงินลงทุนเพิ่มเติม  (Follow on Funding) และสนับสนุนการทำตลาดจนสามารถดำเนินการในเชิงพาณิชย์ได้ (Commercialize  Support) จากดีแทครวมมูลค่า 10 ล้านบาท ซึ่งในงานเดมโมเดย์ครั้งนี้มีนักลงทุนชั้นนำจากทั่วโลกมาเป็นคณะกรรมการตัดสิน เช่น เจฟฟรีย์ เพนน์  Managing Partner โกลเด้นท์เกตเวนเจอร์ กวงฮัว ซู (Kuanhua Hsu) จาก กรี เวนเจอร์ (Gree Venture) อเล็กซ์ จาวิซ (Alex Jarvis) จาก จังเกิล เวนเจอร์ (Jungle Venture) เอเดรียน แวนเซล ( Adrian Vanzyl) ซีอีโอ อาร์เด้นท์ แคปปิตอล (Ardent Capital) ฮิโร มาชิตะ (Hiro Mashita) จาก M&S Partners และโคชิ ไซโตะ (Koichi Saito) จาก IMJ

      นายจอน เอ็ดดี้ อับดุลลาห์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ  ดีแทค กล่าวว่า “dtac Accelerate ปีนี้ประสบความสำเร็จเกินกว่าเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้เป็นอย่างมาก เราได้ทีมที่มีความพร้อม และมีความมุ่งมั่นในการเป็นผู้ประกอบการอย่างจริงจัง และยังสามารถผลักดันสตาร์ทอัพทั้ง 5 ทีมให้ประสบความสำเร็จในการทำธุรกิจได้ตามแนวทางและกลยุทธ์ Internet For All ของดีแทคที่มุ่งมั่นให้คนไทยได้ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตอย่างกว้างขวาง ด้วยการเร่งขยายธุรกิจสู่โมบายอินเทอร์เน็ตและแอพพลิเคชั่น เพื่อนำแอพพลิเคชั่นดีๆ สู่ผู้ใช้บริการ และเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการส่งเสริมให้คนไทยร่วมปฏิวัติอุตสาหกรรมเทคโนโลยี เพิ่มโอกาสในการเรียนรู้และแสดงศักยภาพของเหล่าสตาร์ทอัพคนไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักไปทั่วโลก”

     นายแอนดริว กวาลเซท ผู้อำนวยการอาวุโส ฝ่ายกลยุทธ์และนวัตกรรมธุรกิจ บริษัท โทเทิ่ล แอ็คเซส คอมมูนิเคชั่น จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ  ดีแทค กล่าวว่า “ แผนงานของ dtac Accelerate ต่อจากนี้ไปเรามี Business Modelในการเป็น Strategic Partner ให้เงินลงทุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง และช่วยทำตลาดเชิงพาณิชย์ โปรโมทให้แอพพลิเคชั่นของทั้ง 5 ทีม เพื่อให้มีลูกค้าเข้ามาดาวน์โหลดมี transaction และรายได้เข้ามา ซึ่งคาดว่าจะมี 2-3 ทีมที่พร้อมทำตลาดในปลายปีนี้ และต้นปีหน้า และดีแทคจะช่วยขยายตลาดสำหรับแอพพลิเคชั่นที่เหมาะกับตลาดในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ และขยายการเติบโตไปสู่ลูกค้าของเทเลนอร์ที่มีอยู่ใน 13 ประเทศทั่วโลก และคาดว่าจะได้รับผลตอบแทนที่ดีกลับมาตามเป้าหมายที่ตั้งไว้”

ความคืบหน้าของทั้ง 5 ทีมในโครงการหลังผ่าน Bootcamp

·       ทีม Anywhere to go ผู้พัฒนาแอพ เคลม ดิ ก่อนที่จะมาร่วมโครงการกับเราก็มีเพียงไอเดียมานำเสนอ ตอนนี้ได้พัฒนาขึ้นมาเป็นแอพพลิเคชั่นที่พร้อมจะทำตลาดถึงกลุ่มลูกค้าแล้ว ซึ่งนับว่าเป็นการพัฒนางานที่รวดเร็วมาก และที่สำคัญเรายังได้ช่วยให้ทุกทีมได้มีโอกาสได้ pitch งานกับนักลงทุนระดับต้นๆ (top VCs )และ นักลงทุนอิสระ (angel investors) อย่าง 500startup จนกระทั่งทีม Anywhere to go ได้รับเงินลงทุนจาก 500 Startups ในที่สุด ซึ่งนักลงทุนกลุ่มนี้จะทำหน้าที่เป็นหุ้นส่วนทางกลยุทธ์สำคัญเพื่อช่วยให้ เคลม ดี เติบโตได้อย่างรวดเร็วในตลาดอื่นๆในเอเชีย

·       ทีม Piggipo ก็เป็นแอพทางด้านการเงินที่ได้รับความนิยมขึ้นเป็นอันดับ 1 ในแอพสโตร์และสามารถเข้ามาติดอันดับได้ในหลายๆครั้ง และยังได้รับเงินสนับสนุนจากอุ๊กบี Ookbee

·       ทีม Fast in Flow  เติบโตขึ้นจากฐานลูกค้าเดิมกว่า 10 เท่า และเริ่มทำรายได้จากฐานลูกค้าในไพน์ไลน์จำนวนกว่า 100 ราย

·       ทีม Drive Bot ก็เป็นดาวรุ่งพุ่งแรง และพร้อมที่จะเปิดตัวในเชิงพาณิชย์ในเฟสถัดไป

·       ทีม Story Log มีคนเข้ามาดูเมื่อ 2-3 สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมากว่า 1 ล้านวิว และมีแฟนเพจผู้ติดตามจำนวนมาก

       ความสำเร็จของโครงการ dtac Accelerate ในปีนี้ทำให้ดีแทคและเทเลนอร์มั่นใจมากขึ้นว่าเราดำเนินโครงการได้บรรลุเป้าหมายที่วางไว้ และต่อจากนี้เรายังคงสนับสนุนเงินทุนเพิ่มเติม Follow on Funding พร้อมช่วยทำการตลาดให้ทุกทีมสามารถทำธุรกิจได้อย่างยั่งยืน ส่งเสริมสตาร์ทอัพคนไทยให้ประสบความสำเร็จและเติบโตเข้าสู่เวทีระดับโลกได้ต่อไป

dtac Accelerate announced the overall winner to participate in Blackbox Connect in Silicon Valley and the winner of Digital Winner Award and will provide follow-on funding and marketing support to the five finalists

      dtac announced the winner of dtac Accelerate 2014 after the 5 finalists have completed the 3-month bootcamp. The winner Team will fly to Silicon Valley to take part in the Blackbox Connect program in Silicon Valley. And the team who won the Digital Winner Award and an opportunity to compete with 13 other startups from Telenor worldwide in Norway. All five finalists will receive follow-on funding and commercialization support from dtac worth a total of THB 10 million. The Demo Day was attended and judged by top VC’s, including Jeffrey Paine, Managing Director of Golden Gate Venture; Kuanhua Hsu of Gree Venture; Alex Jarvis of Jungle Venture; Adrian Vanzyl, CEO of Ardent Capital; Hiro Mashita of M&S Partners; and Koichi Saito of IMJ.

We expect 2-3 teams will be ready for commercialization by year-end or early next year. dtac will help grow applications that are suitable for the Southeast Asian market and bring them to customers of Telenor Group in 13 countries around the world, which we expect to have a positive outcome”

Post-Bootcamp Progress of 5 Finalists

·     Anywhere to Go, the developer of Claim Di, started the program with just an idea, which has since been developed into an application ready to be commercialized now. This is considered a very fast development, and it helped give other teams a chance to pitch their work to top VC’s and angel investors, such as 500Startup. Anywhere to Go eventually received seed investment from 500Startup, who will serve as strategic partners to help Claim Di expand rapidly to other markets in Asia.

·     Piggipo, the #1 finance application, has featured several times in App Store and has received funding from Ookbee.

·     FastInFlow has grown its user base by 10 times and is starting to generate revenue from over 100 customers in the pipeline.

·     DriveBot is a rising star who will be ready for commercializaton in the next phase.

·     Storylog with a large number of followers has over one million views in the past 2-3 weeks.

       The success of this year’s dtac Accelerate gives dtac and Telenor confidence that our project has achieved its objectives, and we will continue to provide follow-on funding and marketing support to enable the startups to have a sustainable business and help them grow and succeed on the global stage.
