Special deals to be offered by 22 car makers at the '18th Pacific Motor Show' The extravaganza will draw some 500,000 visitors, generating over 600 million baht

  Pacific Park Sriracha announces its readiness to organize the automotive fair, 'The 18th Pacific Motor Show” during October 23 to November 1 on the over 4,500 square meters of space, where 22 leading car and motorcycle makers will show their latest vehicles with a great deal of special promotion. The offers will draw the buyers who are interested in Pickup-based Passenger Vehicle and pickup cars as the new Excise tax will be effective early 2016.

   Mr. Somboon Vorapanyasakul, Managing Director of Pacific Park Sriracha, Co., Ltd. discloses that the 18th Pacific Motor Show keeps on the concept of the grand automotive extravaganza and most complete solutions in the East. The theme this year on “CAR SAFETY SAVES LIFE” underlines the importance of choosing the vehicle, beyond its design and appearance is the performance and functionality that serve the drivers’ ultimate needs with care for maintenance and safety,

   The space inside and outside the department store of more than 4,500 square meters is the same as last year, but the booths have been adjusted to be more convenient and comfortable for visitors. The booth for bicycles is shown as a warm-up for the “BIKE Century…Back to our Future” which will be organized during November 17-22, 2015 at the basement floor, Pacific Park Sriracha, to be the succeeding event of the “18th Pacific Motor Show”, the high season of the year and also promote the public to exercise by cycling, and get ready the cyclers for the “Bike For Dad” on December 11, 2015 at 3pm. on the occasion of celebration His Majesty the King’s 88 anniversary.

The show space of the event comprises of six zones including:

Zone 1, Promotion space on the basement floor, presents the car accessory

Zone 2, Promotion space on the first floor, shows motorcycles

Zone 3, Promotion space on the third floor, presents bicycle and motorcycles

Zone 4, The fourth floor, in front of Pacific Hall and inside the Pacific Hall, exhibits cars and event stage.

Zone 5, the space in front of the department store, shows the event of Honda motorcycle lovers.

Zone 6, the space beside the department store, presents the pretty car contest and car audio.

“This year we spend more than 22 million baht on the event focusing on entertainment activities, joined by 22 car and motorcycle makers and we target to sell some 600 cars and motorcycles. There will be some 500,000 visitors for along 10 days of the event and expect that it will create more than 600 million baht,” he said.

22 auto vendors, of 14 brands at the show are CHEVROLET, FORD, HONDA, ISUZU, MAZDA, MG, MITSUBISHI, NISSAN, SUBARU, SUZUKI, TOYOTA, VOLVO, SGP CNG PICK UP, WASUTHA GROUP (luxury car importer). All will present the latest ones, especially the MPV group such as All New Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, All New Ford Everest, All New Nissan X-TRAIL and All New Fortuner and the pickup group such as THE 2015 COLORADO HIGH COUNTRY.

    The bicycle vendors include BENELLI, HONDA, HONDA BIGBIKE, KAWASAKI, PLATINUM, STALLIONS, VESPA and YAMAHA. There will be also special promotion from big bike, and leading bicycle distributors such as Titanium, Giant Ridley, GT, Wheeler, Fuji, WCI.

    Mr. Somboon added that though it has been the economic turmoil at present, there is a high demand for consumers. Such the market factor as the new structure of Excise tax, especially the groups of PPV and pickup, will also boost the demand.

    “The price of these two groups of vehicles will be increased due to new Excise tax structure which will be effective early 2016, so the market competition has been severe.All new models are scheduled to be introduced at the show, together with  variety of promotions such as zero interest, low down payment, or 72-month installment,” he said.

    In addition, every automotive vendors have done a good thing with the Pacific Park Sriracha, by which customers who reserve the car at the event are able to join donating the money to the Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital, to join building the 150-year holistic treatment centre of the Queen Savang Vadhana building.
